ROBOCALL for 4/27/24

Here are your messages for this week.

From the Board of Trustees: Until now, we have been on schedule to open our new pool on time for Memorial Day weekend. However, the excessive amount of rain and the very low nighttime temperatures in the past couple of weeks has delayed construction. The new anticipated pool opening date is now June 8th. Pool hours will be announced before opening day.

From the Administrator’s office: The Lions Head South 2024 painting schedule will begin this week, weather permitting. The full schedule can be found in the Lions Pride and on our website.

The following tickets will be sold tomorrow morning in the clubhouse from 9:30-11:00:

• The Men’s Club will be selling Mega 50/50 raffle tickets at $5 each. They will also be selling tickets at $10 each for a May 11th Bingo and Pizza event. Doors open at noon.

• The Lions Head Country Club will be selling 20/20 raffle tickets at $20 each (through May 27th)

• The Travel Committee will be collecting deposits for their three posted trips. Deposits are required to hire the tour company. Please support these trips.
  

In other news…

• Due to an early deadline for catering, the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is now sold out. For those who have tickets, doors open at 5:45 and you are reminded to bring your own tequila for our margarita station.
  

• The movie “Must Love Dogs”, starring Diane Lane, John Cusack and Dermot Mulroney will be shown on May 5 th at 2pm in the Lions Den.
  

• Articles for the June issue of the Lions Pride are due by Friday, May 3 rd . Check page 1 of the Pride for the email address. Call Carol Powell with any questions.
  

• There will be a Men’s Club meeting this Wednesday in the Lions Den. Pasta with meat sauce will be served.
  

• Sign up continues for the Men’s Club Monmouth Park event. A full buffet and parking is included in the $70 ticket price. See the bulletin board for details.
