Hello Lions Head South… Here are your messages for this week.

The following tickets will be sold tomorrow morning in the clubhouse from 9:30-11:00:

The Social Committee will be selling tickets at $25 each for their Local Summer Party, to be held on

Sunday, September 8th from 4-8PM. This outdoor event will feature entertainment by Steve and Debbie. A buffet including fried chicken and ribs is included. Only residents can buy tickets the first two weeks of sales.

-The Women’s Club will be selling tickets at $10 each for their Bagels and Bingo event on August 21st . Tickets include 1 free bingo card and

a continental breakfast. Doors open at 9:30.

-The Women’s Club will also be taking orders for their Mum sale. The 9” pots are $6 each or 3 pots for $16. Delivery will be in September.

-The Men’s Club will be selling tickets at $25 each for the Bob Scott Game Show on August 15 th at 5PM.

Tickets include a sandwich buffet, chips, treats, dessert and soft drinks.

The Men’s Club will also also be selling Mega 50/50 raffle tickets at $5 each.

In other news…

-A free “Work’em Out” arms exercise demonstration will be offered in the fitness center to Lions Head South residents on Tuesday, August 27th and Thursday, August 29th from 6:30-7:15pm. Sign-up is required on the

Recreation Committee’s bulletin board in the clubhouse.

-A reminder that league bowling will begin on Friday, September 6th. Please see the sign-up sheet on the recreation bulletin board. The first meeting will be on August 28th at 12 noon in the Lions Den.
